Why do we still need a month designated for Black History? After all, we now have a Black president? Doesn’t that prove racism no longer exists here in the U.S.A.? African Americans are the citizens whose labor, blood, sweat, tears and deaths helped make America a great country. Americans know the story of Ellis Island and immigrants.
