Happy February!

Thanks to Dr. Carter G. Woodson’s  1926 “Negro History Week,” February was designated as the month to study Black History in 1976.

On February 1st, 1960, 4 African-American male college students courageously walked into the Woolworth’s in Greensboro, NC, to exercise their right to order lunch at the counter. Woolworth’s did not serve Black people and so a sit-in ensued.History was made!
